BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Bridgeport Sound Tigers collected three markers over a 2:05 span in the first period as the club handed the Binghamton Senators a 6-2 loss in the final meeting of the year between the East Division rivals. Center Andrew Ebbett continued his impressive play, collecting two points (1+1=2) to give him twelve over the last eleven games.

Following a Frans Neilsen goal, the Senators responded as defenseman JF David buried his third goal of the year. David took a feed from Jeff Heerema and snapped a wrister past netminder Wade Dubielewicz to make it a 1-1 game.

The Sound Tigers reeled off three goals over a 2:05 span late in the opening period to take a 4-1 lead into the locker room.

Steve Regier, Stephen Wood, and Cam McCaffrey all netted even-strength markers on goaltender Brian Elliott, who was making his professional debut after finishing his collegiate career at the University of Wisconsin.

With the Sound Tigers leading 5-1, Ryan Vesce one-timed a shot from the high slot which Ebbett deflected past Dubielewicz's glove hand to make it a 5-2 contest. The marker was the only power-play tally of the night, as the teams combined for just 14 penalty minutes.

The Senators return to Arena ice tomorrow night at 7:05 p.m., as they welcome the Norfolk Admirals to town. Fans can purchase tickets at the following locations: Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena box office (Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Saturday, 12 p.m. - 5 p.m.), Binghamton Senators executive office, third floor of the Arena (Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. and on game days until the end of the second period.), www.binghamtonsenators.com or by calling (607) 722-SENS.
