
Goaltender Josh Tordjman Assigned By Phoenix Coyotes

PHOENIX, Ariz. - The Phoenix RoadRunners of the ECHL, a proud affiliate of the Phoenix Coyotes and the San Antonio Rampage, have announced that goaltender Josh Tordjman has been assigned to the team by the Phoenix Coyotes. In a separate transaction, goaltender Mike Mole has been traded to the Pensacola Ice Pilots for future considerations.
Tordjman, 21, was 31-23-0 with a 3.00 goals against average and a .908% save percentage in 56 games last season between the Victoriaville Tigres and the Moncton Wildcats of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. A native of Montreal, Quebec, Tordjman backstopped the Wildcats to the 2006 QMJHL championship and a runner-up finish at the 2006 Canadian Hockey League Memorial Cup. He participated at the Coyotes 2006 Rookie Conditioning Camp and skated with the Coyotes rookie team along with RoadRunners defenseman Dave Pszenyczny at the 2006 Pacific Division Shootout in El Segundo, Calif.
"Josh is a dynamic and athletic goaltender who the Coyotes are extremely high on," said RoadRunners Head Coach Ron Filion. "We are excited to have in training camp with us and look forward to helping him advance in his professional career."
Mole, 23, went 19-30-5 with a 3.15 goals against average and a .903% save percentage in 57 games last season as a rookie between the RoadRunners and the San Diego Gulls. The Orleans, Ontario native signed a two-year contract today with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the American Hockey League after re-signing with the RoadRunners on June 13. The Pensacola Ice Pilots are the ECHL affiliate of the Sound Tigers and the New York Islanders.
Individual game tickets for the 2006-07 regular season are currently on sale and can be purchased at the US Airways Center Box Office and at all Ticketmaster outlets including Ticketmaster.com.
Opening Night 2006 at US Airways Center will be on Friday, Oct. 20 when the RoadRunners welcome the Utah Grizzlies at 7:11PM for the first game of an opening weekend three-game series. Information on season tickets, half-season packages, and flex plans are available by calling (602) 462-GOAL.
