Go Green Week, Pooch On The Pond This Sunday

BOSSIER CITY, LA - Go Green with the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs this Sunday at the CenturyTel Center as they take on the Corpus Christi IceRays at 4:05 pm for "Go Green Week", presented by AEP SWEPCO. The Mudbugs' last Sunday afternoon game features a family-friendly opening faceoff time and will also be our "Pooch on the Pond" game, when dog owners are encouraged to bring their four-legged best friend with them to the game!
The Mudbugs and SWEPCO are teaming up to help raise awareness about environmental issues during "Go Green Week", which continues with the Mudbugs' home game Tuesday against Mississippi. The 'Bugs will wear specialty "Go Green" jerseys during both games, with those uniforms then being put up for auction to the fans on eBay following Tuesday's game.
Sunday will also mark the return of our "Pooch on the Pond" event, where well-behaved dogs can accompany their owners to the game against Corpus Christi! All fans planning to bring a pooch with them to the game will need to provide proof of shots and tags for their dog, which must be kept on a leash at all times while inside the CenturyTel Center.
Dogs and owners can enter and depart the CTC through the doors adjacent to the Swamp Shack and will be seated in Section 104 during the game. Please be aware that aggressive or unruly dogs will be required to leave the arena. Click Here

The Mudbugs and IceRays will be vying for an important late-season victory on Sunday afternoon as the regular season winds down and teams look to hit their stride heading into the playoffs. The 'Bugs are 4-1 against Corpus Christi this season, but the IceRays still need wins to lock up the fifth and final playoff spot in the Southern Conference.
Bossier-Shreveport will also play at home Tuesday against Mississippi, Thursday vs. Tulsa and Friday in their regular season home finale against Missouri.
