Bucks Add Fletcher To Roster

LAREDO, TX- The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League announced Friday that they have signed rookie forward Tyler Fletcher. Fletcher is expected to be in the lineup Friday when the Bucks travel to Rio Grande Valley.
The 25-year-old Fletcher spent the last three seasons playing college hockey at the University of Wisconsin-Superior (NCAA D-III) and spent the 2006-07 season playing for Marian University (NCAA D-III).
In four collegiate seasons Fletcher, 6'2'', 200-pounds, played in 109 games and put up 51 points (22-2951).
Fletcher, from Calgary, Alberta, notched a new career high with 15 goals this season with UW-Superior to go along with five assists and 15 points. In three of his four collegiate seasons Fletcher scored 15 points each.
Prior to playing college hockey Fletcher spent two seasons in junior hockey splitting time in the AJHL and SJHL.
Fletcher played in 110 total junior games scoring 54 points (19-3554).
In 2005-06 Fletcher picked up career high's in goals (12), assists (29) and points (41) while playing for the Mellville Millionaires.
**RICHARDS GRANTED LEAVE BY LEAGUE**
The Bucks also announced that Robin Richards has been granted a leave of absence by the Central Hockey League effective immediately.
Richards has played in 58 games for the Bucks this season putting up a career high 19 points (9-1019) and is second in the league PIM's with 237.
Richards is expected to miss at least this weekend's games for the Bucks.
