Glumac Tabbed Rookie of the Month

PRINCETON, N.J. - Pee Dee Pride forward Mike Glumac is the CCM East Coast Hockey League Rookie of the Month for October.

The 22-year-old Glumac led all ECHL rookies with seven goals in October and tied for the scoring lead among rookies with 11 points in eight games. His seven goals tied him for second among all ECHL players while his 11 points tied him for 10th overall.

The 6-2 and 205-pound Glumac scored a goal in each of Pee Dee's last three games and scored a point in each of the last five games in October while helping Pee Dee to a 5-2-1 record.

Glumac scored his first professional goal and added an assist in Pee Dee's season opener on October 11, and came back the following night to score the game-winning goal in Pee Dee¹s 5-2 win against Columbia. After being held scoreless for the only time in the month on October 18, Glumac scored a career-high two goals, two assists and four points in a 7-2 win against Florida on October 19.

Glumac played four seasons for the University of Miami-Ohio scoring 57 points (34g-23a) in 144 games, including a career-high 15 goals and 23 points as a senior in 2001-02.
