
Gladiators Open Training Camp October 1st

Atlanta Gladiators News Release
The Gwinnett Gladiators announced today that they will open their training camp for the 2009-10 season on Thursday, October 1 with meetings and physicals at their facilities in Duluth, Georgia. The first on-ice session will begin at 12:10 PM on Friday, October 2 at the Duluth Ice Forum.
The Gladiators will hold on-ice practices at both the Duluth Ice Forum and the Arena at Gwinnett Center. On-ice sessions at the Duluth Ice Forum are open the public. Sessions held at the Arena at Gwinnett Center will not be open to the public. The Gladiators will travel to Estero, Florida to take on the Florida Everblades in two preseason match-ups on Friday, October 9 and Saturday, October 10. Start time for both games are scheduled for 7:30 PM.
The Gladiators will open the regular season at home against the Wheeling Nailers on Saturday, October 17th at 7:05 p.m.and on Sunday, October 18th.

The Gladiators open their 7th season in the ECHL on Saturday, October 17th and Sunday, October 18th against the Wheeling Nailers. The Gladiators are the AA affiliate of the Atlanta Thrashers and Columbus Blue Jackets and play all home games at the 11,355-seat Arena at Gwinnett Center, located just off I-85 on Sugarloaf Parkway in Duluth.
