Idaho Steelheads News Release

(Boise, ID) - The NHL's Dallas Stars announced that goaltender Richard Bachman has been assigned to the ECHL's Idaho Steelheads while the AHL's Texas Stars announced forward Brad Miller and defenseman Brendan Milnamow have been sent to Idaho.

Bachman, 23, was a two-year starter in net at Colorado College. During that time, he posted 39 wins in 70 appearances. During the 2007-08 season, Bachman was 25-9-1 with a 1.85 goals-against average and a save percentage of .931. He participated in training camp with Dallas and Texas before being assigned to Idaho.

Milnamow made his professional debut last spring with the Steelheads, appearing in five games late in the regular season. Miller will be making his professional debut after four years at the University of North Dakota. He was a college teammate of current Steelhead Kyle Radke at UND.

All three will report to training camp with the Steelheads this Saturday, October 3. Idaho will play two exhibition games - October 9 in Logan, UT, and October 10 in McCall - before opening the season on October 16, at home, against the Stockton Thunder.

Season-ticket packages for the 2009-2010 season remain available, starting at $450 per seat for all 36 home games. Partial-season plans begin at just $150 per seat. New this season is the all-inclusive "Gold Membership." Contact the Steelheads front office at 208.383.0080 or log on to www.idahosteelheads.com for more information.
