Chiefs Announce Training Camp Schedule

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. - The Johnstown Chiefs announced today their schedule for the 2009 training camp.

Camp will commence on Saturday, October 3 and last up to Tuesday, October 13. The 10-day camp will feature two intrasquad scrimmages and two exhibition games against the Wheeling Nailers. The Chiefs' home exhibition game will be on Saturday, October 10 and begin at 6:05 p.m. Season ticket holders get free admittance to the game, and will have a special post-game reception with the team. The general public can purchase tickets to the game for just $5.

The schedule for the Johnstown Chiefs 2009 training camp is as follows:

Saturday, October 3

10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon: On-ice session(s)

3:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.: On-ice session(s)

Sunday, October 4

10:00 a.m. - 12 noon: On-ice session(s)

5:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.: Scrimmage

Monday, October 5

10:00 a.m. - 12 noon: Scrimmage

3:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.: On-ice session(s)

Tuesday, October 6

9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.: On-ice session(s)

Wednesday, October 7

10:00 a.m.: Pre-game skate

7:00 p.m.: Exhibition game at Wheeling

Thursday, October 8

10:00 a.m. - 12 noon: On-ice session(s)

3:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.: On-ice session(s)

Friday, October 9

10:00 a.m. - 12 noon: On-ice session(s)

Saturday, October 10

10:00 a.m.: Pre-game skate

6:00 p.m.: Exhibition game vs. Wheeling

Post-game reception with season ticket holders

Sunday, October 11

Off

Monday, October 12

10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon: On-ice session(s)

Tuesday, October 13

10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon: On-ice session(s)

All on-ice sessions and intrasquad scrimmages are free and open to the public. Times and availability during training camp are subject to change. Questions regarding training camp can be directed to the Chiefs' front office staff by calling 814-539-1799.
