Gladiators Announce Season Opening Roster

Atlanta Gladiators News Release


The Gwinnett Gladiators season opening roster includes 21 players as the Gladiators prepare to open the 2010-2011 season on Friday, October 15th at Florida against the Everblades at 7:30 p.m.

The seasoning opening roster is comprised of seven defensemen, 11 forwards and two goaltenders. Two players are assigned to Gwinnett from the Atlanta Thrashers of the National Hockey League and two players are assigned to the Gladiators from the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League.

Of the 21 players, the Gladiators will begin the 2010-2011 season with two players on the Injured Reserve. The complete roster is included with this release.

The Gwinnett Gladiators open the 2010-11 season on the road before returning home to host the South Carolina Stingrays on Friday, October 22nd at 7:35 p.m. The Gladiators are the AA affiliate of the Atlanta Thrashers and play all home games at the 11,355-seat Arena at Gwinnett Center, located just off I-85 on Sugarloaf Parkway in Duluth.
