Peterborough Petes News Release

(Peterborough, ON) - The Peterborough Petes host the Owen Sound Attack on Thursday, December 17 for the annual Petes Holiday Classic, and this year fans have opportunities to receive great prizes and giveaways as they enjoy a rematch between the Petes and the cross-conference rival Attack.

Thursday's game is a $5 student night, meaning all students can purchase tickets in the Sun Life Financial Family Zone for just $5 (while supplies last, City of Peterborough fees may apply). The game is being played in support of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, with runner Catie Sims and Zak Mitchell, a local student who suffers from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, performing the ceremonial faceoff. Purchase your chuck-a-pucks to support Catie & Zak and win over $250 worth of gifts and gift cards.

Off the ice, Santa Claus will be meeting with local children in the North Lobby and giving out candy canes while the Salvation Army Band will be playing classic holiday tunes. Following the game, all fans will be given a solid chocolate replica Stanley Cup (while supplies last) as they leave the PMC.

Throughout the game, fans can win prizes and loyalty rewards points through the Petes Mobile App. Tickets, including the $5 student tickets and $16 Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy tickets, are still available by visiting the PMC Collins Barrow Box Office online, in person, or by phoning (705) 743-3561.
