Give Blood Play Hockey Part II This Saturday

LAREDO, Texas â This Saturday the Laredo Bucks will again partner with the South Texas Blood & Tissue Center and the Laredo Entertainment Center for "Give Blood Play Hockey Part II" as they host the Austin Ice Bats. Fans can donate blood at the LEC from 10 a.m. â 8 p.m. For more information contact Bucks Director of Community Relations Nicole Thompson at (956) 718-BUCKS (2825) or log onto www.laredobucks.com.
All donors will receive a Give Blood Play Hockey T-Shirt and also will receive a ticket for a future Bucks game. In addition they will be entered in a drawing for prizes that will be given away during the Bucks game on Saturday.
Earlier this season Give Blood Play Hockey Part I helped collect more than 100 pints of blood.
WHITEOUT THIS SATURDAY
· The Laredo Bucks have declared a whiteout for their Saturday game against the Austin Ice Bats. The Bucks will assist fans with the whiteout by offering 10 percent off all white merchandise at the Bucks Team Store located at the LEC. Fans are encouraged to wear white in a show of solidarity for the hometown Bucks. The effect of the whiteout creates a feeling of unity between the fans and the team.
