Vancouver, B.C. - The Vancouver Giants announced on Monday that the hockey club has released forward Jack McClelland.

"With some of our injured players getting closer to returning, we have to reduce our roster size," said Giants General Manager Scott Bonner. "We thank Jack for his time with club and wish him all the best in the future."

McClelland, an 18-year-old from Wichita, Kansas, played in five games for the Giants this season, picking up 12 penalty minutes.
