Vancouver, B.C. - Tuesday night at the LEC the Vancouver Giants (14-15-1-1) dropped a 3-0 decision to the Prince George Cougars (8-20-1-3). Josh Maser paced the Cougars attack with two third period power play goals, while defenceman Rhett Rhinehart added a power play goal at the end of the second period. Taylor Gauthier stopped all 32 shots he faced in the Cougars goal to earn the shutout. Trent Miner made 29 saves in response for the Giants.
1st Period:

2nd Period:
PG - Rhett Rhinehart put the Cougars on the board with a power play goal that came with 1.6 seconds left on the clock. Rhinehart parked himself in the left-wing circle and one-timed home a Jack Sander pass home for his third of the season.
Shots: 9-7 Vancouver
3rd Period:
PG - Josh Maser pushed the Cougars lead to 2-0 on a five-on-three power play at 11:33. Cole Moberg and Ethan Browne assisted on Maser's first goal of the evening.
PG - With the Giants shorthanded and their net empty, Josh Maser notched his second of the night at 17:52, giving him 15 goals on the season. Ryan Schoettler had the lone assist.
