
Giants Drop 6-2 Decision to Kelowna Friday Night

VANCOUVER, BC - The Vancouver Giants dropped a 6-2 decision to the Kelowna Rockets in Vancouver's final home game of the season Friday night at the Pacific Coliseum.
The Rockets snapped a one all 1st period tie with 2 goals in just over a minute and added 2 more just 8 seconds apart in the 2nd period to take a 5-1 lead en-route to the 4 goal win.
Six different goal scorers did the damage for Kelowna while Carter Popoff and Travis McEvoy scored for the Giants.
A season high crowd of 14,214 watched the game at the Coliseum.
The Giants play their final game of the season Saturday night in Kelowna at 7 p.m., the back end of a season ending home and home series for Vancouver.
