Clinton LumberKings News Release

Clinton, IA - Get your tickets early for Friday, August 15th at Alliant Energy Field. The first 750 paying fans through the gate for that night's game between the Clinton LumberKings and Burlington Bees will receive a Grady Sizemore bobblehead.

The bobblehead depicts the current Cleveland Indians' All-Star center-fielder back in his days ranging the outfield for the LumberKings when he wore #22 as a Montreal Expos farmhand.

Sizemore hit .268 with 16 doubles, two home runs, 61 RBI and 32 steals as a member of a very talented Clinton outfield. He joined current Pittsburgh Pirates star Jason Bay (last year's bobblehead) and Philadelphia Phillies' outfielder Brandon Watson (currently in triple-A Lehigh Valley).

This season with the Indians, Sizemore clubbed 23 home runs and drove in 54 RBI while hitting .273 in the first half, earning selection to both the 2008 MLB All-Star Game and the Home Run Derby. As of July 30, he's batting .279 with 25 homers and 56 RBI for the Tribe.

For tickets or more information, contact the LumberKings' main office at 563-242-0727.
