Get to Know Our 2023 Inter Miami CF Special Olympics Unified Team Presented by Florida Blue

Inter Miami CF News Release

On Saturday, Inter Miami CF introduced the Club's 2023 Inter Miami CF Special Olympics Unified Team presented by Florida Blue on the field at halftime of the Inter Miami CF First Team match against the New England Revolution at DRV PNK Stadium. Launched in 2021, the Inter Miami CF Unified team is made up of athletes with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), and Unified partners, athletes without an IDD. The Unified team will face off against other MLS Unified teams this season with a minimum of two games. The 2023 match schedule will be announced in the coming weeks. Florida Blue is the Club's Official Community Partner.

Last month, the 2023 Unified players signed their Club contracts with the Director of Soccer Operations, Niki Budalic, becoming official members of the Inter Miami CF Special Olympics Unified Team.
