Georgia Force QB Chris Greisen Named Offensive Player of the Week

FLOWERY BRANCH, GA - The Arena Football League has announced that QB Chris Greisen has been named AFL Offensive Player of the Week for his performance in last night's Monday night victory against the Philadelphia Soul.
Greisen, 6-3, 220 pounds, connected on 22 of 29 passes (75.8 comp. pct.) for a season-high 344 yards with seven touchdowns in Georgia's (5-1) 57-49 victory over the Soul Monday night. His 344 passing yards marked the fourth time in six games Greisen surpassed the 300-yard plateau and was the second highest single-game total in Force history. Greisen has thrown for 1,852 yards on 144 of 193 passing with 44 touchdowns through the first six games of the season. He leads the AFL in touchdown passes (44) and completion percentage (74.6), while ranking third in the league in quarterback rating (130.9). This marks the second time this season he has earned Offensive Player of the Week honors in addition to being named AFL Offensive Player of the Month for the month of March two weeks ago.
