Record for week: 2-2-0, 4 points
Record for season: 4-10-2, 10 points - Tied for 4th in Eastern Conference
Player Notes: Jan Jas leads the team with 12 points on two goals and 10 assists...Gerard Miller leads the defensemen with 11 points on five goals and six assists...Mike Zbriger leads the team in goals with nine and power play goals with five...Jason Selleke is fifth in the league with 66 penalty minutes...Zbriger is eighth in the league in rookie scoring, Dave Frawley is tied for 11th...Miller is sixth in defensemen scoring, Martin Ondrej is tied for ninth and Shaun Fisher is tied for 13th.
Team Notes: The Generals have the third best power play percentage in the league at 17.6% and the seventh best penalty kill at 82.5%...The Generals are out shooting their opponents in the first and third periods this season and have been out shot in the second period by one...The Generals still lead the league in fewest shots allowed on goal per game at 28.13.

Wednesday, November 15 Port Huron 1 @ Flint 2
The Generals won their first home game of the season by beating Port Huron 2-1. Jeff Zehr gave Flint a 1-0 lead with a power play goal at 13:06 of the first period with Bobby Reynolds and Terry Marchant assisting. Mike Zbriger scored his eight goal of the season at 2:55 of the second period to give the Generals a 2-0 lead. Port Huron got to within one goal at 9:14 of the third period on a Pat Sutton goal. With the win the Generals ended a four game winless streak overall and a five game home winless streak. Jason Muzzatti made 26 saves on 27 shots for his second win of the season.
Friday, November 17 Flint 3 @ Port Huron 1
For the first time this season the Generals won two consecutive games. Port Huron took a 1-0 lead with a shorthanded goal in the first period. Mike Zbriger tied the game for the Generals with a power play goal at 9:32 of the second period. Terry Marchant gave the Generals a 2-1 lead with another power play goal at 12:54. Jan Jas and Jan Eriksson assisted on both goals. Gerard Miller scored the final goal of the game at 16:04 of the second period with Marchant and Bobby Reynolds assisting. Jason Muzzatti made 36 saves on 37 shots for the win.
Saturday, November 18 Elmira 3 @ Flint 1
Elmira took a 1-0 lead on the Generals with a power play goal by Yevgeny Lazarev at 14:51 of the first period. The Jackals extended their lead to 2-0 at 15:37 of the second period with another power play goal. Erik Anderson scored the second Elmira goal. Jason Selleke got the Generals to within one goal at 2-1 with a power play goal at 18:16 of the third period with their goalie pulled for an extra attacker. Shaun Fisher and Gerard Miller assisted on the goal. Lazarev added an empty net goal at 19:53 for the Jackals to end the scoring. Bryan Worosz made 19 saves on 21 shots in the loss.
Sunday, November 19 Muskegon 3 @ Flint 2
Gerard Miller gave the Generals a 1-0 lead at 5:00 of the first period with a power play goal from Terry Marchant and Jan Jas. Mike Watt scored for the Fury at 18:56 to tie the game 1-1 after one period. The Generals reclaimed the lead at 2-1 with a Martin Ondrej goal at 13:32 of the second period. Tyson Turgeon assisted on the goal. Muskegon tied the game at 15:37 on a Scott Barnes goal. Barnes added another goal at 4:51 of the third period to give the Fury the lead and eventual win. Jason Muzzatti made 16 saves on 19 shots in the loss.
PREVIEW OF UPCOMING GENERALS GAMES November 20-November 26
Thursday, November 15 Flint @ Muskegon 7:30p.m.
The Generals travel to Muskegon for the second time this season. Flint is 0-3-0 against the Fury this season and 0-1-0 in Muskegon. The Generals lost 5-0 in Muskegon on November 10.
Friday, November 17 Bloomington @ Flint 7:30p.m.
This will be the first ever meeting between the Generals and the expansion Bloomington Prairie Thunder. Bloomington enters the week 5-9-0 and in third place in the Western Conference.
Saturday, November 18 Kalamazoo @ Flint 7:30p.m.
This will be the third game of the season between the Wings and the Generals, the first meeting in Flint. The Generals are 1-1-0 against Kalamazoo on the season, having won the last meeting 7-4 on November 4.
Generals Player of the Week:
The Generals Player of the Week is Terry Marchant. Marchant had four points in four games last week on one goal and three assists. He also played at a -1 rating in the four games.
Generals Goaltender of the Week:
The Generals Goaltender of the Week is Jason Muzzatti. Muzzatti appeared in three games last week and went 2-1-0. He made 78 saves on 83 shots for a .940 save percentage and had a 1.67 goals against average.
