Flint, MI- The Generals pulled out their 3rd victory in a row Friday night at Perani Arena, beating Bloomington 5-2.
Flint's John Mori (powerplay) (Brandon Gentile, Bryan Smolinski) 1:48. Tony Tuzzolino (powerplay) (Brandon Gentile, John Mori) 16:45 Flint - Tony Tuzzolino (Jamie Schaafsma, John Mori) 18:53 all scored in the first, giving Flint a 3-0 lead.
John Ronan scored a short handed goal 3:08 into the 3rd period getting the assist from Pascal Rheaume. Jamie Schaafsma added the final nail with an unassisted goal at 15:49.
Jesse Dudas scored first for Bloomington, getting the only goal in the second period and Bill Bargon scored their second and final goal unassisted at 8:30 of the third.
Rob Nolan stopped 37 of 35 shots on goal and the Generals went 2 for 3 on the power.
