December 4, 2009 - International Hockey League 2 (IHL 2)
Port Huron Icehawks News Release

PORT HURON, MI - The Port Huron Icehawks announced that they have signed forward Pete Rouleau as they head into two games this weekend. Per team policy, details of the deal were not disclosed.

Rouleau (5-7, 165 lbs) returns to his home state after starting the season with the Texas Brahmas in the Central Hockey League. The native of Hancock, Michigan also skated with the Brahmas in the 2008-09 season and helped the team to a championship with 36 points (13g, 23a) in 52 regular season games and nine points (4g, 5a) in 14 playoff games. This season he played in eight games with the team.

The 26-year old forward began his collegiate career at Finlandia College and led the team in points during his freshman season, with 39 points in just 25 games. He then transferred to Michigan Tech and after a slow first season with the team, hit his stride and scored 30 points his junior season and 29 points during his senior campaign. He led the team in scoring both seasons and was named most improved player his junior season and team MVP his senior year.

After graduating from Tech, the forward played seven games in the ECHL, including one game with the Idaho Steelheads and six with the Pensacola Ice Pilots.
