December 14, 2010 - Central Hockey League (CHL)
Dayton Gems News Release

Dayton, OH - The Dayton Gems will help area families find and prepare Christmas trees for transportation at the A. Brown and Sons Nursery from 5 p.m. - 6 p.m. on Wednesday, December 15. Players will help families choose a tree for their home and load the tree into the family's vehicle so it can be transported by the family.

In addition to helping families find a Christmas tree, players will also be signing autographs for fans. Players will have supplies to sign for fans along with any personal items fans bring with them.

The outreach to the community at A. Brown and Sons Nursery is just one way the Gems are helping families during the holiday season. Prior to Wednesday, the Gems also collected Toys for Tots, attended a Build-a-Bear workshop with children and hosted a Teddy Bear Toss to collect teddy bears for children.

For fans interested in catching the Gems' players in action individual game tickets are available for purchase in advance of games.
