
Gates to Avista Stadium Open at 10:30 on January 15

Gates to Avista Stadium will open at 10:30 am and fan entertainment will begin at that time on Saturday, January 15th for the Rockstar Outdoor Hockey Classic. Spokane will host the Kootenay Ice at the home of the Spokane Indians Baseball Club in the WHL's first ever outdoor hockey game. Pre-game ceremonies on the ice will begin at 1:00.
Following the game fans will be treated to a Fireworks Spectacular presented by TicketsWest.
During the pre-game activities on the concourse fans will have chance to get their pictures taken with the Memorial Cup and the Ed Chynoweth Cup and help welcome the Chiefs to the stadium by giving them the red carpet treatment at 11:00.
Access to the field and the ice surface will also be available for all fans from 10:30-11:30.
Concession stands will also open when the gates do and be open through the course of the game.
Fans can also participate in the The Rypien Foundation's silent auction.
Tickets to the Rockstar Outdoor Hockey Classic are available by calling the Chiefs office at (509) 535-PUCK or TicketsWest at (800) 325-SEAT.

1:00- Pre-game ceremonies begin
