
Howse Signs with Flames

The Calgary Flames have signed left-winger Ryan Howse to an entry-level contract.
The Flames selected Howse in the third round, 74th overall, at the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. Calgary announced the signing Tuesday.
Howse, a five-foot-11, 195-pound native of Prince George, B.C., is in his fourth full season with the Chilliwack Bruins of the Western Hockey League.
He has 173 points (112 goals, 61 assists) and 70 penalty minutes in 164 career games with Chilliwack.
This season, Howse is tied for fourth in WHL in goals (23) and tied for 22nd in points (39). He was invited to Canada's 2011 world junior selection camp.
