
Gate City Bank to Host Wiz Kids Event

BISMARCK, ND, March 5, 2007 - The NBA Development League Champion Dakota Wizards announced today that they have teamed up with Gate City Bank for the first ever Wiz Kids program. Wizards players, coaches and staff will be on hand for the official grand opening of the Wiz Kids program on Friday March 7th from 3:30 - 5:00 at the Bismarck Downtown Location (304 E. Rosser Ave.) All youth in the area and their parents are invited to meet the team.
"This is a really fun part of our job", said Wizards director of game operations Scott Woodmansee. "We really want to give the kids in the area a chance to meet our players, and give our players the opportunity to see what they are playing for here in Bismarck".
The Gate City Bank Wiz Kids program was started this season with the intention to give youth an opportunity to meet and interact with Wizards players off of the court. For a $10 fee youths who sign up receive a Wiz Kid T-shirt, a free ticket to a Wizards game of their choice, a free ticket to the night designated as Gate City Bank Wiz Kids night on March 9th, a invitation to a Wiz Kid only basketball clinic, a invitation to monthly Wiz Kid events set up at different locations each month, a birthday card from Dunkie, a Quarterly newsletter and a official Gate City Bank Wiz Kid membership card.
