
Gaston Named Player of the Week

FARGO, N.D. - Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks OF Jon Gaston has been named the Pointstreak American Association Player of the Week for June 25-July 1, the league office has announced.
In six games, Gaston batted .423 (11-for-26) with four doubles, two home runs, eight RBIs and nine runs scored for Fargo-Moorhead. Gaston helped the RedHawks to a 4-2 record over the six game homestand.
This season, Gaston is batting .404 with six doubles, four home runs, 12 RBIs and 14 runs scored in 12 games for Fargo-Moorhead this season.
The Redhawks have Monday off and return to action on Tuesday with the first game of a four-game series against the Winnipeg Goldeyes at Shaw Park in downtown Winnipeg. Game times for all four nights are 7:00 p.m.
