
Garon Assigned to Bulldogs for Conditioning Purposes

Hamilton Bulldogs News Release
The Montreal Canadiens, a parent club of the Hamilton Bulldogs, have assigned goaltender Mathieu Garon to Hamilton (AHL) for conditioning purposes.
Garon, a 24 year-old native of Chandler, Quebec, played in 50 games with Quebec (AHL) last season posting a record of 21w-15l-12t, a G.A.A. of 2.73 and a save percentage of .918. The 6'2, 192-pound goaltender also saw action in five games with the Montreal Canadiens in 2001-02. The Canadiens originally selected Garon with their second pick, 44th overall, in the 1996 NHL Entry Draft.
The Hamilton Bulldogs also announced that they have assigned left-winger Jerome Marois to the Columbus Cottonmouths of the East Coast Hockey League.
