Crunch Announce Details of Agway Energy Products 'High Energy Player of the Game' Program

Syracuse, NY (October 23, 2002) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today the details of the Agway Energy Products 'High Energy Player of the Game' program.

Following each home game during the 2002-03 season, the local media and Crunch management will select an Agway Energy Products 'High Energy Player of the Game'. The Agway Energy Products 'High Energy Player of the Game' will be awarded to the Crunch player that displays the best work effort and energy level during that game.

At the end of the season, Agway Energy Products will make a $500 donation to a local charity, in the name of the player who was awarded the most Agway Energy Products 'High Energy Player of the Game' awards. The Crunch will track the program on their website (www.syracusecrunch.com) throughout the season.

Left wing Kent McDonell was awarded the first-ever Agway Energy Products "High Energy Player of the Game' for his efforts in the Crunch's home opener on Saturday, October 19, 2002 against the Binghamton Senators.
