Sudbury Wolves News Release

The Sudbury Wolves completed the two-week pre-season schedule with their youth leading the way.

Ben Garagan, a 5th round selection in the 2015 OHL Priority Selection led the Wolves in pre-season scoring with 4 goals and 1 helper for 5 points in just 4 games. The graduate of the North York Rangers Minor Midget program proved that he belongs in the OHL with his outstanding speed and skill and will certainly be one of the cornerstones of the Wolves turnaround from last year. Garagan finished among the Top 10 in league scoring.

Michael Pezzetta, 17, proved why he was selected in the first round of the OHL Priority Selection in 2014 as the Mississauga native was outstanding in the two games that he played in pre-season. Pezzetta scored a goal and added 3 assists for four points in just two games. Pezzetta is regarded as one of the strongest players on the Wolves' roster and he is poised to make his mark on NHL scouts this season.

David Levin, who just turned 16 years of age on September 16th, was third in team scoring for the Wolves in the pre-season with 3 assists in four games. The native from Israel displayed the speed and skill that made him the 1st-overall selection in the 2015 OHL Priority Selection. Levin showed good chemistry with line-mates Michael Pezzetta and Import forward Dmitry Sokolov during pre-season games.

Garagan, Pezzetta and Levin are all expected to be in the line-up this Friday night when the Wolves host the #1 ranked-team in the OHL this season -- the Niagara IceDogs. There are plenty of good seats available for this Friday night's game with a new Friday night start-time of 7:00 pm this season! Credit Cards, debit accepted.
