Gametime for regular season finale changed to 6:05

SAN ANGELO, Texas - The San Angelo Colts announced today that the first pitch for the final game of the 2008 regular season at Foster Field would be moved from 5:05 to 6:05 p.m.

The game will still feature Fan Appreciation Night, with fans getting the opportunity to take home numerous gift packages from the Colts. Furthermore, there will be postgame fireworks sponsored by Adobe Signs and T-Shirts and KLST. Also, fans also have a chance to collect any remaining giveaway items that they may have missed this season, including Youth Baseball Gloves, Baseball Card Team Sets, T-Shirts, and more.

San Angelo will take on the Edinburg Coyotes that night. The Coyotes are still fighting for the final remaining United League playoff spot. San Angelo will be in the playoffs as the No. 2 seed, hosting the entire first round series at Foster Field. The playoffs begin on Monday, August 18, with single-game tickets for the first two games and packages for all five potential home games available at the Foster Field box office.

The Colts finish their three-game series in Laredo tonight, August 4, at 7:30 p.m., before returning home for an equally quick homestand against the Harlingen WhiteWings, beginning on Tuesday, August 5. Before the 7:05 game, the Colts will host their final Youth Clinic of the year, sponsored by Walmart and KSAN.
