It's game two of the Warriors' & Blades' weekend home & home series, and its Saskatoon's turn to host. The Blades put the Warriors to the sword last night in Moose Jaw to the tune of an 8-2 victory, overcoming a 1-2 deficit in the opening period. Tristen Robins (2G-2A), Colton Dach (2G-2A), Scott Walford (3A) & Caiden Daley (1G-1A) all had multi-point nights in Saskatoon's dominant win. Riley McKay also scored, giving him six goals in four games against the Warriors this season, a team the Blades' have now beaten three times in a row.
Today we're celebrating the 300th WHL game of 20-year-old veteran defenceman Nolan Kneen, a feat reserved for the iron men of the Dub. Also celebrating a career milestone is sophomore defenceman Aidan De La Gorgendiere. Get to the game to celebrate the achievements of these two great Blades and hit the ice with the team post-game! Need to Know for Mosaic Family Day Skate:
For the final time of the 2019-20 season fans have the opportunity to hop on the ice post-game and skate with the entire Blades' team! Don't forget to bring your skates to the game and while you're zipping around centre ice at SaskTel Centre you'll have the opportunity to take pictures with players, have them sign your Blades' gear and maybe even play a game of tag!
For today's Sunday matinee and post-game skate, we're making it extra sweet with the release of our complete set of hockey cards for the 2019-20 season!
