TONIGHT'S MATCHUP: The Thunder return home to the Glens Falls Civic Center to take on the Elmira Jackals for the third time this season on home ice. The Thunder enter tonight's action having lost four of their last five games and without a home win since December 10, but with only two home games in that span.

KANGAROO JACK-ALS: The Thunder have posted a 3-0-1 record against Elmira this season, including a 4-3 overtime victory at First Arena in late December, the last meeting between the two teams. In two meetings at the Civic Center, the Thunder have outshot the Jackals by an 80-25 margin and have picked up three of a possible four points, led by a 3-0 victory on October 29.

SUGAR SUGAR HOW YOU GET SO BLIGH: Thunder forward Nick Bligh made his Thunder debut over the weekend and scored in each of his first two games with the team, in addition to collecting an assist. Bligh, who was acquired on Thursday from the South Carolina Stingrays, had appeared in three games with the Stingrays in his first professional season. Prior to, the Milton, MA native had skated four seasons of collegiate hockey at Dartmouth College, where he amassed 42 points (19-23-42) in his NCAA career.

ANOTHER BRICK IN THE WALL: Rookie defenseman Alex Wall collected three points over the weekend in Reading, tied for the most on the team in the two-game stretch. Wall, who scored his first career game-winning goal on Friday, leads all Adirondack defensemen with 21 points (3-18-21) on the season. Wall also ranks third in the ECHL among first year defensemen in assists and fourth in points.

ROAD TO JOY: With nearly half of the season played, the Thunder rank as one of the ECHL's top teams away from home. Adirondack is tied for the Eastern Conference lead with 11 road wins and 23 road points, which also has them tied for third league wide in points. The Thunder are 11-6-0-1 overall away from home, good for a .639 percentage.

DYNAMITE DMEN: Adirondack defensemen Kevin Lough and Conor Riley each collected two points for the Thunder over three games last week. Lough picked up helpers on both Wednesday and Saturday, while Riley is riding a two-game point streak with assists on Friday and Saturday. Riley's helper on Friday was the first point of his professional career in his sixth game played.

LIKE FATHER, LIKE ANDER-SON: Goaltender J.P. Anderson made his second straight start last night and picked up his second victory with the Thunder. The Toronto native turned aside 21 of 23 shots in the victory and currently sits with a 6-3 record on the season between Adirondack and Wheeling. Anderson now has a .915 save percentage and a 2.49 goals against average in 11 ECHL games this season.
