
Game vs. Lancaster Rescheduled for Saturday June 13

(York, Pa.) Important information regarding Sunday's postponed York Revolution game against the Lancaster Barnstormers was announced this morning. The game has been rescheduled for Saturday, June 13 at Sovereign Bank Stadium, as part of a day-night doubleheader.
The teams will play two 9-inning games, with the first game beginning at 12 p.m., and the nightcap at 7 p.m., as scheduled. Prior to the early game, there will be a Pregame Breakfast with the Players at 10 a.m. More information regarding the breakfast will become available at a later date, and will be posted on YorkRevolution.com.
Tickets for Sunday's postponed game will be honored for the noon game of the doubleheader on June 13. Fans who cannot use their tickets at that particular time may exchange their tickets for any other game in 2009 based on availability. Exchanges can be made in person at the Apple Chevrolet Ticket Office.
"Bark in the Park," originally scheduled for May 3, will be rescheduled on Sunday, May 17. One well-mannered dog will be admitted free with their owner that afternoon, as the Revolution take on the Somerset Patriots at 1 p.m.
The doubleheader on June 13 will be the third in "War of the Roses" series history, and second day-night doubleheader. The Revs swept a two-city day-night doubleheader last September, winning in both York and Lancaster. The two teams are scheduled to play another two-city doubleheader on Saturday, July 18.
The Revolution return to the field on Monday night at 7 p.m. for the first of a four-game home series against the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs. Monday night is the first night for students participating in the Buck-A-Book reading program to redeem their tickets, and it is also the first "Monkey Magic Monday" of the season, with fans guaranteed to see a live monkey, magic, or both.
Tuesday night at 7 p.m. it is the Revolution's Cinco de Mayo celebration at the ballpark, patrocinado de Miller Chill.
On Wednesday at 7 p.m., it's the first Amtrak Wednesday of the season, as fans can enter a drawing for two free, round-trip Amtrak tickets. It is also the first night for students and young Revolution fans to redeem their tickets as part of the brand new Rev Up Reading! program.
The homestand concludes Thursday morning at 11 a.m. with Baseball in Education Day.
