Celebrate Mother's Day With The Bluefish

(Bridgeport, CT - May 4, 2009) - The Bridgeport Bluefish today announced they will be offering a special ticket package to all mothers on Mother's Day. All families can spend this special day at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard while showing mom you care.

The Mother's Day Package will consist of four (4) premium loge seats, a pink, blue or lavender adjustable Bluefish hat and special recognition on the Fish Vision Video Board. For only $49 you can spend your special day with your family and the Bluefish. The ‘Fish will take on cross-sound rival Long Island starting at 2:05 p.m. Gates open at 1:05 p.m. and all fans will be treated to a pre-game on-field autograph session. Following the game all kids and kids-at-heart will have a chance to round the bases like their favorite Bluefish players.

The Bluefish return home on Friday, May 8, to begin a weekend series against cross-sound rival Long Island. The two teams will meet for the first time this season as they fight for the inaugural Ferry Cup. The first pitch is at 7:05 p.m., and gates open at 6:05 p.m. The first 1,000 fans to enter the ballpark will be given a free Bluefish Foam Finger as part of "Freebie Friday."
