Wilson Tobs News Release

WILSON, N.C. - The Wilson Tobs are aiming for an even record with a win tonight vs. the Petersburg Generals.

There is a lot going on at the ballpark tonight. First of all, it's another State Farm Jana Lake Bang-For-Your-Buck Monday meaning $1 popcorn, sno-cones, and hot dogs.

Also, it's Faith and Family Night, the perfect night to enjoy fellowship with some of the most important people in your life.

Finally, it's also a chance for Read Around the Bases tickets that were previously unused to be used. If any elementary readers did not use their tickets during last Monday's celebration, they are valid for use during tonight's game.

On the field, Aaron Lynch was excited about the chance to go 6-6 with a win saying, "If you had told be we'd be [5-6] two weeks ago, I'd have been ecstatic."

Pithcing Coach Kyle Hodson echoed Lynch. "I think if we play like we did [on Saturday vs. Peninsula] we're going to be a real tough team to beat."

The Tobs are coming off an impressive 16-5 victory on Saturday against Peninsula. Wilson will play thrice at home and thrice on the road this week.
