Lincoln Stars (28-20-5) | 5th - Western Conference
After splitting last weekend with the Bloomington Thunder, the Stars are six points shy of a playoff spot with seven games remaining. Lincoln has won two of its last three games, scoring 12 goals during that stretch. The power play could factor into this weekend's games as the Stars have converted at 11% over their last five games, a 5% decrease from their season average. Friday's game could prove key for Lincoln's success as the team's record is 2-6-2 in its last 10 Fridays and 8-2-0 in its last 10 Saturdays.
Tri-City Storm (18-27-8) | 8th - Western Conference
The Storm is on a three-game losing slide after being swept and outscored, 11-1, by the Muskegon Lumberjacks last weekend. Tri-City is eliminated from Clark Cup playoff contention, though the team was able to beat Fargo earlier this month and three of its last five games have been decided by one goal. After trading leading scorer Alex Limoges at the deadline, the Storm has relied on forward Linus Weissbach for production - he has 47 points in 49 games.
TC: Linus Weissbach - The Wisconsin commit has five goals and six assists in his last 10 games.
LIN: Ethen Frank - The Western Michigan commit has two goals and three assists in his last five games.
Roster Report - Mike Gillespie has been listed as injured since Feb. 19.
