TONIGHT: The Orlando Solar Bears (1-1-0-0) continue the 2018-19 season, presented by XYMOPrint, as the team completes a two-game home series with the South Carolina Stingrays (0-2-0-0). Orlando picked up its first win of the season Monday night, a 5-4 victory over South Carolina. A win tonight over the Stingrays, with all other South Division clubs idle, would allow the Solar Bears to jump into first place in the division.

BOUTET GETS CREDIT WITH FIRST OF SEASON: A score correction to Orlando's fourth goal in Monday night's game has awarded Etienne Boutet with his first goal of the season at the 19:00 mark of the second period.

FEJES CREDITED WITH MULTI-POINT GAME: Hunter Fejes has received credit for a secondary assist on Brent Pedersen's first goal of the game on Monday, retroactively giving Fejes a two-assist night. Fejes and Pedersen are now tied for the team scoring lead for the season, as each have a goal and two assists through two games.

BOES EXPECTED TO MAKE DEBUT: With Martin Ouellette getting the last two starts in goal for Orlando, it is expected that rookie goaltender Corbin Boes will make his pro debut tonight for the Solar Bears. Last season, the 6-foot-3, 220-pound puck-stopper led all U Sports (Canadian university athletics) goaltenders in minutes (1,649) and saves (866) while playing for Dalhousie University.

BEREHOWSKY CLOSING IN ON CENTURY MARK: With 93 career wins behind the bench of the Solar Bears, Drake Berehowsky is already the winningest head coach in the team's ECHL tenure. He is only seven wins away from joining former IHL Solar Bears bench boss Curt Fraser as the second head coach of a professional hockey team in Orlando to reach the century mark in coaching wins.

NEXT GAME: The Solar Bears head north for a two-game road trip, starting Friday, Oct. 19 at Jacksonville at 7:30 p.m. The Solar Bears return home for a showdown with the Florida Everblades on Friday, Oct. 26 at 7 p.m. CLICK HERE to purchase tickets.
