
Nashville Loans Magwood to Atlanta, Lane Recalled to Milwaukee

DULUTH, Ga. - The Atlanta Gladiators announced on Tuesday the NHL's Nashville Predators have loaned forward Zach Magwood to the team from the AHL's Milwaukee Admirals. In addition, forward Matt Lane has been recalled by the Admirals to the AHL.
Magwood, 20, started his rookie campaign in Milwaukee where he appeared in one game for the Admirals. Prior to signing with the Nashville Predators in the off-season, the Cambridge, ON native notched 59 points (27g, 32a) and a plus-27 rating in 65 games for the OHL's Barrie Colts last season. The 5-foot-10, 190-pound center added 10 points (6g, 4a) in 12 playoff games for the Colts. The undrafted forward accumulated 106 points (52g, 54a) in 173 career OHL games all with Barrie.
Lane, 24, scored the first goal of the Gladiators' season during the team's 4-2 win over Orlando this past Saturday. The Rochester, NY native returns to the AHL where he has 15 games of experience, all with his hometown Rochester Americans.
In a non-related transaction, forward Tyler Deresky has been added to the 14-day Injured Reserve list.
