The Road Warriors are 6-8-0 against the Stingrays this season. The two teams last played each other on March 23rd when Greenville defeated South Carolina 5-1. Josh Nicholls scored two goals for the Road Warriors, while Andrew Rowe, Marc-Olivier Vallerand, and Emerson Clark scored the remaining three. Jeff Malcolm stopped 32 shots and earned the victory.
The Road Warriors had their four-game win streak snapped last night in a 6-4 loss to the Gwinnett Gladiators. Marc-Olivier Vallerand scored two goals for Greenville, while Andrew Rowe and Andrew Yogan scored also tallied for the Warriors. Goaltender Jeff Malcolm took the loss and made 27 saves.
South Carolina broke their three-game losing streak last night with a 3-2 overtime victory against Fort Wayne. Peter Boyd registered a hat trick for the Stingrays and goalie Allen York stopped 24 shots.
