Preview: Chicago Express (31-26-7-4, 73pts) vs. Toledo Walleye (28-34-2-4, 62 points)

When: Puck drops at 4:00 pm, doors open at 3:00 pm

Where: Sears Centre Arena - 5333 Prairie Stone Parkway, Hoffman Estates, IL 60192

Tonight's Matchup:

Chicago and Toledo meet up for the final time of the 2011-12 regular season today, as the Express continue to sit just two points shy of the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. Chicago earned a dramatic comeback win last night against the Kalamazoo Wings. An early third period Kalamazoo goal put the Wings up 4-1, but Chicago scored four goals, three of which came in the final seven minutes, to earn a 5-4 win over Kalamazoo. The Walleye are looking to right the ship tonight, as they come to Chicago after falling 7-1 to Elmira last night. The Jackals tacked on three goals in the first and second periods, and added a final marker in the third for good measure. Toledo is on a three game losing skid, having last won 4-3 over Kalamazoo in a shootout.

Express Notes:

The Express were whistled for 88 PIM last night, which eclipses the previous record of 71 that was set against Cincinnati on December 22... Chicago played their final Saturday night home game of the regular season last night, finishing the year with a 6-2-3 record at home on Saturday's... D Jonathan Zion is riding a four game point streak, with four goals and three assists in that span.
