Tonight's Matchup:
The Express and the Gladiators come together for the final time this season, with Chicago looking to earn their first win over Gwinnett. The Gladiators collected a 3-2 shootout win over Chicago at the Sears Centre Arena on November 13, and followed it up by taking down the Express 3-1 at the Arena at Gwinnett Center last Saturday. Chicago comes home tonight, for their first game at the Sears Centre since January 29, a 3-2 shootout win over the Cincinnati Cyclones. The Gladiators are winless in their last two games after a 4-3 shootout loss to the Kalamazoo Wings last Sunday and a 5-3 loss to the Greenville Road Warriors on Tuesday.
Express Notes:
Chicago is still searching for their first win over a South Division team, as the Express are 0-6-4 against teams from the South Division... RW Chaz Johnson scored the second hat trick in Express history on Sunday, picking up three goals in Chicago 7-6 OT loss to the Greenville Road Warriors... The six-goal output by the Express on Sunday tied the mark for second most in a game by the club, with Chicago also reaching the mark on December 9 against Kalamazoo and February 2 in Trenton.
