Game Preview: Barnstormers at Pirates

The Iowa Barnstormers (3-1) will travel to Massachusetts to play the Pirates (3-1) at the DCU Center in Worcester on Saturday, April 23rd. It will be the first of two matchups between the teams in 2022. Kickoff is set for 6:05 P.M. CST.
The Barnstormers are coming off a win against the Sioux Falls Storm (2-3) in Des Moines, 47-37. In that game, quarterback Darius-James Peterson rushed for two touchdowns, while throwing for three. All three were caught by receiver Dom McNeil who had a standout game. A 62-yard end zone field goal by Gabriel Rui helped seal the game for the Barnstormers, putting his team up 10 with less than two minutes to go.
The Pirates (3-1) are looking to get back on track after seeing their first loss last weekend, falling to the Green Bay Blizzard (1-4) on the road 38-31.
