Harrisburg Heat News Release
Saturday, January 12, 2019
SECU Arena at Towson University - 6:00PM
Harrisburg Players To Watch:
Despite missing the last game, Ricardo Carvalho leads the heat with 6 goals and 4 assists for 10 points. Dominic Francis is proving to be a consistent offensive player, whose production should continue to rise. Baltimore will welcome back ex-Blast Nelson Santana who has been a steadying force on defense and our Heat Power Plays. Defensively helping Santana are Patrick Thompson, Danny DiPrima and newly acquired Dylan Hundelt.
Baltimore Players To Watch:
Baltimore's team game is always their biggest asset with scoring spread around, but after six games, Jonathan Melo is the top point getter with 11 (4 goals, 7 assists). 7 points each are the marks for Andrew Hoxie and Tony Donatelli. In net, is arguably the best in the league in William Vanzela who is third currently with a save percentage of .731.
History of Series:
This is the first game of the I-83 rivalry for the 2018-19 season. These teams face each other 6 times in the remaining games, so they certainly get very familiar with one another. Nevermind, at the helm of the Heat is ex-Blast captain Pat Healey, with father Kevin coming from Baltimore to help bring the same winning history to central Pennsylvania.
