Game Postponed

Burlington, Iowa - The Burlington Bees have announced their game scheduled for Community Field tonight has been postponed. Thursday night's game was called at the end of seven innings, due to rain. The field has not recovered, and is unplayable yet today....

The game will be made up as the front end of a double header on Saturday, April 6.

The today's game was to be a home game for the Quad cities after Modern Woodman Park, in Davenport, became inaccessible due to flooding. The River Bandits will be the home team for the first game on Saturday. Gates will open at 4 PM, and the game one will start at 5 PM.

The second game will be the Bees official home opener. It will follow 45 minutes after the end of the first game.

Both General Managers met with their groundskeepers on Community Field early Friday afternoon. Most of the surface was playable. However safety concerns over a few soft, wet areas the decision to reschedule.
