Unplayable Field Conditions Postpone Friday Game in Burlington
April 5, 2019 - Midwest League (MWL1)
Quad Cities River Bandits News Release
Burlington, IA - The Quad Cities River Bandits scheduled game in Burlington on Friday night was postponed due to unplayable field conditions at Community Field. Heavy rains during and after the game on Thursday did not allow the infield to recover in time for Friday's contest.
The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Saturday evening beginning at 5:00 p.m. The teams will play a pair of seven-inning contests with a 30-minute break in between. The River Bandits will serve as the home team in the first game and be the visiting team in the second.
