After a hard-fought, scoreless stalemate against the San Jose Earthquakes, Sounders FC (9-4-4, 31 points) returns home for a Cascadia clash against the Portland Timbers (9-5-4, 31 points) at CenturyLink Field (7:30 p.m. PT / FS1, 1090 KJR AM, El Rey 1360 AM). This is an important match for both sides, as the winner will take over sole possession of first place in the Western Conference.
