After losing to the Colorado Rapids on Sunday, Sounders FC (10-5-5, 35 points) heads back to Southern California to face the LA Galaxy (6-11-3, 21 points) at Dignity Health Sports Park (8:00 p.m. PT / JOEtv, Prime Video, UniMás, 950 KJR AM, El Rey 1360 AM).
After MLS announced it will use a points-per-game (PPG) system to determine standings, Seattle is currently in third place in the Western Conference with 1.75 PPG. The Galaxy sit in 10th place with 1.05 PPG.
