The Remix will play a back-to-back series against the Rio Grande Valley Vipers in Edinburg, Texas this Friday and Saturday night.

Match-up History:

The Remix have already faced off once against the Vipers in Orlando, Fla. in late December during the 2023 NBA G League Winter Showcase Cup. The Remix defense did not allow the Vipers to score a field goal for the first seven minutes, taking a 20-2 lead to start the first quarter. Six Remix players scored in double figures, including four starters in the victory.

Notable:

IGNITE FLAMES OUT: The Rip City Remix defeated G League Ignite in consecutive games earlier this week. On Jan. 22, the Remix outscored Ignite 118-95, and never let them lead after going up 10 early in the first quarter. On Jan. 24, The Remix rallied again to top Ignite 110-102 by going ahead early in the fourth quarter.

THREES PLEASE: Antoine Davis leads the G League with 46 total three-pointers made (3PM) in the regular season so far. Davis has scored 20+ points in six of his last seven games.

BOARDS FROM GEORGE : Center George Conditt ranks #7 in total rebounds (104) in the G League. He earned his sixth double-double of the season 1/24 with a Remix record of 17 rebounds over Ignite.

ANSWERING THE CALL: The Portland Trail Blazers called-up Remix guard Taze Moore on Jan. 20 to a 10-Day contract. He is the first Remix player to officially be called-up to sign a NBA contract.

The Remix made a trade with Texas Legends on Jan. 11 to acquire Moore in exchange for draft picks. Moore has one year of G League experience and av-eraged 8.0 points, 2.7 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game with the Legends this season.

FRESH FACES: The Rip City Remix acquired Scottie Lewis from the player pool on Jan. 20. He has two years of G League experience after spend-ing some time as a Two-Way Player with the Greens-boro Swarm in 2021-22. He had a season-ending injury in the summer of 2022 that prevented him in recording any minutes during the 2022-23 season.

The Remix also acquired D'moi Hodge in a trade with the South Bay Lakers in exchange for a 2025 First Round Draft Pick on Jan. 19. Hodge is playing in his rookie season, appearing in 16 games with the SB Lakers, averaging 11.2 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game.

Rip City acquired Jazian Gortman from a trade with the Wisconsin Herd in exchange for Malachi Smith on Jan. 12. Gortman is in his rookie year, and previ-ously played with Overtime Elite. He has played in 18 games this season with the Herd, averaging 6.9 points, 1.8 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game.

The Rip City Remix defeated Ignite 110-102 after a close game with a total of 14 lead chang-es. The Remix pulled away by holding Ignite scoreless for the first four minutes of the fourth quarter, going on an 11-0 run. George Conditt scored 22 points and earned a team-record 17 rebounds in the win. Antoine Davis also scored 22 points to tie a team-high in scoring.

RIP CITY REMIX vs G LEAGUE IGNITE ... JAN. 22, 2024 ... W, 118-95

Rip City outscored the Ignite by 10 points in the first quarter and remained on top for the rest of the game, including a 32 point lead early in the third quarter ... Antoine Davis led the team with 22 points and six rebounds, while D'moi Hodge was close behind with 21 points and four steals.

RIP CITY REMIX vs. OKLAHOMA CITY BLUE... JAN. 15, 2024 ... W, 127-119

The Remix had their highest scoring quarter of the regular season, dropping 44 points in the first quarter ... George Conditt led Rip City with 22 points, three rebounds and two assists ... Ashton Hagans followed with 20 points, seven assists and seven rebounds.

RIP CITY REMIX vs OKLAHOMA CITY BLUE ... JAN. 14, 2024 ... W, 99-95

Rip City defeated Oklahoma City in their first ever meeting, 99-95. Antoine Davis led the team with 21 points and three rebounds. Taze Moore scored the go-ahead three-point basket with 26.8 seconds remaining in his first game with the Remix. Quinton Rose and Ashton Hagans both contributed 16 points each in the win.

RIP CITY REMIX at MEXICO CITY CAPITANES ... JAN. 7, 2024 ... W, 118-110

The Remix stormed back to take the second game of the back-to-back against the Mexico City Capitanes, 118-110. George Conditt scored a season-high 27 points, 24 rebounds and two assists ... Antoine Davis followed with 26 points and three assists ... Of the available eight players, seven scored in double figures.
