In his second game back with the Missouri River Otters, Lonnie Loach led them to a dramatic 3-2 victory against the Port Huron Flags in front of 5,013 fans at the Family Arena.

The River Otters scored the lone goal in the first period on a terrific tic-tac-toe passing play. Jim Duhart played the puck to Loach, who one-touched the puck to Tyler Butler, and the Otters defenseman sent a one-timer above the outstretched glove of Flags netminder Scott Hay.
