LAST NIGHT: Indianapolis scored five times in the third and finished off a 17-run output with a seven-run seventh inning in a 17-5 rout of Columbus on Saturday night. Gregory Polanco put the Tribe in front with a two-run double, and Kevin Kramer chipped in an RBI double ahead of a Pablo Reyes jack that made it 5-0. Polanco pushed Indy's lead to 7-0 with another two-run double in the fourth. Columbus tightened the score with five runs in the fifth, but Ke'Bryan Hayes belted a solo homer in the sixth to push the lead to five, 10-5. Indy put away the home team with its monster seventh that saw Reyes rip another two-run bomb, Cole Tucker add a two-run single and Kramer plate the final three runs of the game with a double. Montana DuRapau (W, 2-1) recorded all four of his outs via strikeouts in the triumph.

SLUGFEST: The Indians scored a season-high 17 runs in last night's contest, matching their high from the 2018 campaign. They also scored 17 runs on April 27 last year at Huntington Park in a 17-5 victory. Indy tied a season high with nine extra-base hits (five doubles, four homers) last night as well. Their four home runs established a new season high and were Indy's most in a single game since hitting four homers on June 28, 2017 vs. Durham.

15 HITS: One night after the Indy pitching staff surrendered at least 15 hits for a fourth time in 2019, the Tribe offense returned the favor with 15 hits of their own last night in the rout. Indy fell one hit shy of matching its season high (16 on April 13 vs. Charlotte) but did improve to 5-1 in games where they tally 15 or more knocks.

12-RUN MARGIN: The Indians matched a season high when they lost by eight runs on Friday night for a fifth time this season. Indy responded in a big way last night, however, with its largest margin of victory in the 17-5 triumph and the largest margin in a win since their 17-5 victory at Huntington Park last April.

PABLO POWER: Last night, Pablo Reyes became the third Tribe player to belt two home runs in a game this season. The multi-homer performance was the second of his career (also: July 15, 2017 vs. Bowie with Double-A Altoona). Jacob Stallings (April 27 at Charlotte) and Cole Tucker (June 20 at Buffalo) also have two-homer games with Indy this season. Reyes also matched a career high with four RBI thanks to his pair of two-run dingers. It was the fourth four-RBI game of his career and first since Aug. 7, 2016 at St. Lucie with High-A Bradenton.

TWO CUPS OF COFFEE: Gregory Polanco (@El_Coffee on Twitter) laced a pair of two-run doubles in the win last night, giving him his 13th career performance with four or more RBI and second in a Tribe uniform (also: April 22, 2014 at Toledo). It was Polanco's first game with at least four RBI since he had four on July 9, 2018 vs. Washington with the Buccos.

KRAMER'S NIGHT: Like Polanco, Kevin Kramer roped a pair of run-scoring doubles in the game on Saturday night. He hit an RBI double in the third and cleared the bases with a three-run double in the seventh. His four-RBI performance was his second of the season, with the other being a career-high five-RBI showing on May 3 vs. Louisville. Four of his six career four-plus RBI games have come with the Indians over the last 1 1/2 seasons.

NEW HIGH FOR HAYES: Ke'Bryan Hayes went 2-for-5 with a soloe homer, one walk, one strikeout and four runs scored in last night's victory. He became the first Tribe player to score four runs in a game since Pablo Reyes on Aug. 3, 2018 at Toledo in a 12-7 triumph. Hayes' four runs scored also established a new career high.

GAME OF ADJUSTMENTS: Jake Brentz has converted all seven of his save chances with the Indians this season and is tied with teammate Montana DuRapau for the team lead in that category. Brentz has allowed just one earned run over his last 5.1 innings of work (1.69 ERA), despite 13 batters reaching base during that stretch (7 hits, 5 walks, 1 hit batter). Over his last eight appearances since June 13, Brentz has a 12.86 ERA (10er/7.0ip) and 4.14 WHIP (17 hits, 12 walks). Through his first 20 appearances of the season between Double-A Altoona and Indy, Brentz posted a 1.27 ERA (4er/28.1ip) with 36 strikeouts, six walks, a 0.78 WHIP and .162 average against (16-for-99).

DEFENSIVELY SOUND: Indianapolis leads the IL with a .983 team fielding percentage and have the fifth-best fielding percentage in Minor League Baseball, trailing only Round Rock (.986), Iowa (.985), Altoona (.984) and Springfield (.9840. Indy hasn't led the IL in fielding percentage since 2006 (.982). The Tribe have committed a league-low 54 errors in 3,231 total defensive chances. Indy's catching corps (Christian Kelley, Steven Baron, Jacob Stallings) have also combined for a league-low four passed balls.
