Saskatoon, SK - It's a battle of the two top teams in the Eastern Conference as the Medicine Hat Tigers (29-14-3-1) are in Saskatoon to take on the Blades (34-9-2-3) for just the second time this season.
These two clubs haven't faced each other since September 30, 2023 when the Blades came back on the Tigers winning 3-2 in overtime at Co-op Place. The Tigers will be looking for their first win in Saskatoon since the the 2019-2020 season. All-time in the internet era the Tigers are 51-40-11-3 (one tie) against Saskatoon. While on the road the Tigers are 24-21-6-2 (one tie) against the Blades.
The Tigers start the weekend atop the Central Division with just a two point lead over the Red Deer Rebels, going 6-2-1-1 in their last ten games. While the Blades have picked up points in six straight games and are 19-1-1 on home ice this season. The Tigers on the road are 13-8-1-1.
